For those of you who don't know- Raygan calls her 3 grandfather's Papa, Poppy and Grandpa.
The week before Christmas Raygan had a date with Poppy to go meet Santa. Raygan was given a Cookie Monster doll by Santa. So, this year what Santa means has become a little clearer to Raygan.
It's funny though because the week leading up to Christmas Raygan seemed to think that Poppy(Mike) was in fact Santa. So everytime I ask Raygan about Santa, she nods and says yes. Then her yes is followed with "Poppy?, Poppy?"
Please don't tell me she's already figured out the secret if Santa at
age 2 !!!
Christmas Lesson #1- Be careful how we portray Santa and Easter bunny to Raygan in the coming years, she may be picking up on this WAY too early.
Christmas Lesson #2- Poppy makes a hell of a Santa Claus because our daughter now talks about him daily.
